24 Tribal poets from #Binjhal, #Desia, #Gadaba, #Koya, #Kui, #Kharia, #Paroja, #Saora, #LanjiaSaora and #Gond communities of Odisha enthralled audiences at @scstrti through their poetry depicting various thoughts at the first day of the 2-day State Level Tribal Poets Meet.
The event was inaugurated by Hon'ble Minister @scstdevdept Shri Jagannath Saraka on Wednesday who extolled the tribal communities for their contribution to the state's art, culture, craft & literature.
Author Prof Dash Benahur was the Key Speaker in the event while Director SCSTRTI Shri Indramani Tripathy thanked the poets for their participation while narrating the objective of the program towards promoting tribal literature.
The event is part of various activities organised by the department as part of #JanjatiyaGauravDivas, supported by @TribalAffairsIn.

#Paroja Tribe is one of the larger tribes settled in Koraput district of Odisha. Music and Dance are an integral part of their festivals. Rinjodi dance is one of them.
