When I first read the patchwork assessment I couldnt see the benefit. Yet presenting today, seeing the reflective journey over my first placement I 100% see it. What a fab way to reflect and carry your learning further into year 3. #convert #patchworkassessment #reflection

@EdNapDLTE @Katrina_Swanton Thanks for this. I notice that the first point in section 'What can be done about it' talks about ensuring assessment is sufficiently bespoke. @mossposs @DeborahALock @UoLBusiness @lol1090507 Really enjoyed discussing the merits of #patchworkassessment this afternoon. It's a very under-utilised form of meaningful engagement with students about what's important to them in their learning. Thanks to @DeborahALock and @UoL_LALT for inviting me.
Hereโs what my PgC Teaching and Learning Student Colleagues told me they had learned from their first module as they stood back & looked at their emerging portfolios. Powerful stuff! #Reflection by #PatchworkAssessment. Canโt wait to see what they discover in module two!
