Another contender for #PathOfTheDay. I love these narrow, rocky tracks that contour the steep slopes. You can move quite fast and there’s just enough of a drop on one side to make it feel a little precipitous and edgy, though clearly it ain’t no Matterhorn summit ridge!

One of the many highlights of Cuicuilco is this sendero ecológico which winds its way around the site, twisting and turning through lava flows, cacti, ancient gnarled trees and flowering xerophytes.
#PathOfTheDay I’d been labouring up the valley until, just 200m below the summit of Pic de la Fossa del Gegant, the trail suddenly zig-zagged steeply through a slope of loose rock and scree. Ladies and gentlemen, I can confirm that adrenalin is as good as speed!
