The mental health care trap
The sad truth about mental health care in this modern era is that if you are harmed by the treatment you receive you will be left to fend for yourself.
The system that harmed you will not admit any responsibility nor will it have any solutions to help you.
You will not receive any compensation for what has happened to you nor will those who harmed you be held accountable.
You will be blamed for any further deterioration in the your health. The meds will never be blamed.
This is normal mental health care in the 21st century.
For there to be true informed consent everyone should understand this before taking psych meds.
Patient blaming is the first sign somebody has run out of ideas and it’s time to cede the field to others. Do better or get out. Gaslighting hasn’t been, isn’t now, and never will be a legitimate intervention for complex chronic diseases (frequently) associated with infection.
You just might have issues with #PainAvoidance, #PatientAbandonment, #PatientBlaming and should be sentenced to supergluing your fxcking nose onto a mirror until you see what the real prob is.
If it's "catastrophizing," I will "catastrophize" until someone listens now.
