Ms. Tendo Namata, the Executive Director of @Embiboinitiativ, has highlighted the significant achievements during the #PISSCA project:
❝We successfully established a Drop-In Center (DIC) and enhanced services for Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) and Key Populations (KPs) by linking them to essential resources like PREP, PEP, ART, STI/UTI testing, treatment, and contraceptives.
We have forged strong linkages and partnerships with health facilities, initiated school health clubs, and actively participated in district health committees.
Our efforts also included providing harm reduction training to health workers to address stigma and discrimination, implementing Feminist Rural Academy (FERA) initiatives, forming PREP and PEP groups, engaging in strategic planning, and continuing our impactful peer-to-peer outreach activities.❞

From 24 to 27 July 2023, @Infocerular is pleased to have been represented by our #MEAL Associate @IshimweJossy77 at a 4 day training on #ProjectManagement organized by @ambafrancerwa and delivered by @RWN_WomenNet for the 7 Grantees of the #PISSCA Innovation fund #TINYUKA! #OSE!
We were excited to host CEHURD under the #PISSCA grant at our offices in Biguli Kamwenge.
They also interacted with some of our peer leaders doing great work in extending SRHR services to KPs and AGYW in their communities.
Peer outreaches have been key in engaging KP and community members regularly in activities for HIV prevention, testing, and related services at the Embibo drop in center.
Clients are able to access condoms , lubricants and information on contraception besides testing.
