I'm so proud that we're raising Violet (2) to be a strong confident woman. However, I sometimes wish she was less strong and confident at bedtime 💜 #pleasejustgotobed

Showed this to the kids at tea time as a main-course-to-pudding gap filler. It has been on a loop on multiple devices ever since. #pleasejustgotobed

Nothing makes you feel more lonely than trying to go to bed after a solo movie night, and hearing the couple next door laughing their asses off... #PleaseJustGoToBed #ImNotCryingYouAre 😭😂😭😂

Me, tired and annoyed at bedtime: “Do you have to reenact a sword fight everytime you brush your teeth?” The boy, in the same tone of voice I’d use if you asked if oxygen was really necessary: “Ummmm, yeah! It’s what you do.” #boymom #pleasejustgotobed
