Remember God’s omnipresence and Death’s omnipotence
Forget your own virtues and ignore other people’s vices
These four make a complete Book of Life; read it sans pretence
Religion shows one divine light, Science comes in many guises

Observe, remember, copy, and practise
Until your own creativity is wide awake
Keeping your impulses in the right harness
It will show your ‘self’, real from the fake

Do not worry if people do not understand you
It is much better than being misunderstood
Your unconcern will in good stead stand you
By preventing falsity from becoming gossip food

EMOTION keeps the fire burning in the Heart
It sustains compassion, nourishes, and uses it
REASON keeps the Head cool so that an upstart
Rather than wax conceit works for societal benefit

For India’s Freedom, he happily embraced death

Neha Kakkar’s Quotable Quote for the Sikhs
Though every Sardar gets to marry a girl
This routine affair causes no social whirl
When luck dawns a girl marries a Sardar
Heart’s epicentre sends out tremors afar

I do not debate but surely declaim
Without fear or favour or love of fame
If what I say respects and upholds Truth
Being its author enough is my name

VALENTINE'S DAY is an annual festival on 14 February
It urges us to celebrate romance, camaraderie, and admiration
We send hearty messages of love to friends, partners, and family
We make hearts epicentres of gay abandon, and celebration

Fat, flesh, bones, and blood constitute the Body
Attired in the most beautiful dress called the skin
It yet remains in the nude as God’s divine artistry
Know it by turning your consciousness outside in

Pairs of opposites are the salt and pepper of change
Without them, life would be one interminable bore
Knowing the world’s impermanence it is strange
We are looking for mirages in the desert evermore

The body is gross; the Mind is subtle, follow different laws
Mother Nature takes care of the Body from birth to death
The mind needs a human regimen to remove countless flaws
It must die to be free by Shabda-Surt Sadhna each breath

The seed of religion sprouts only in the soil of mercy
Watered by pardon it grows on the prop of charity
When Truth fertilises thoughts, words, and deeds
The plant flourishes into a blossom of great beauty
