So i took this roto sampler node from #Synapse (unannounced tool) and threw it into a PointRender stream... I guess that could be made into a native tool in #Nuke #PointRender 2.

The Auto Dissolver of #pointrender 1.3 is one of the example scenes made into a node. It will let you dissolve between 2 point streams. (In this case dissolving between a sphere and a sphere with a fractal applied)

It turns out that if you transfer the velocity vector of a particle into the fractal position sampling offset, you get some nice magical swirls. Last minute feature included in the 1.2 release. #nuke #foundrynuke #pointrender

More #PointRender 1.1 info. A lot of people have requested z-depth output to use custom bokeh kernels etc. While z-depth and overlapping additive points don't go great together, you will have the option now.

I never though this would take 3 years to "pack up for release". But finally got the icons, menu's and all that. Even some last minute features such as this wire advection, that draws a line from your object along a vector. In this case lines from a sphere to a plane.#pointrender
