اوضحت دراسته ان هناك احتلافات ملحوظة في (مسافة السلطة ) #PowerDistance ، وهو مؤشر يقيس إلى أي مدى يتقبل العربي بأن يقوده أو يتبوأ أحد في مجتمعاتنا منصبًا رفيعًا لا يستحقه. واللافت أن الأفراد الأقل سلطة في مجتمعاتنا (يتقبلون) أي سلطة فوقهم وإن كان فيها نزعة استبدادية أو أبوية، بل يعترفون أن هؤلاء الذين يقودون يستمدون قوتهم بحكم موقعهم في الهيكل الهرمي بالمؤسسة التي يعملون بها.
والعكس صحيح، ظهر في المجتمعات غربية.
