Raise your hand if you've heard these statements during project meetings: "I said it would happen." "It had to happen." "I knew it would happen." Hindsight bias makes us all project fortune-tellers after the fact! #ProjectManagement #HindsightBias #PredictingThePast

@wmiddelkoop that's like saying "The next tech revolution would be internet" - i.e. #predictingthepast, i.e. #cv19 WAS lab made, but the #msm is still pretending and beating around the bush in fear of #ccp, even though US was involved in its developement too..

Good to see new development of old athletic performance models. However, when R^2 of 0.99 is achieved on a one input model, all it tells me is that traditional statistics just isn't going to cut it any more in this new age of #ML & complex models #PredictingThePast #Overfitting

"An Improved Version of the Classical Banister Model to Predict Changes in Physical Condition". I really enjoyed reading this as the ACWR has been heavily criticized the last few months. Any improvements in the mathematical model is worth the look. 📚 https://t.co/3KdlnWk0pT

@edleeprof asked us whether there was anything interesting to report from the oral argument data for last term’s patent cases. @TonjaJacobi and I ran some numbers on WesternGeco, SAS Institute and Oil States. #scotus #ScotusOA #predictingthepast is easy.
