Odd take. While not necessarily determinative, CA saw lots of attention on its primary from multiple viable campaigns as well as the media, and because Dem primaries aren’t winner-take-all but rather proportional delegate allocation, CA most certainly mattered. #PrimeTimePrimary
CA moved up the primary date, fielded home-state candidates and voted for the last loser standing. In the end, the most populous state in the nation barely mattered in the Democratic nominating process.
