The Prison Service was delighted to host a visit by the @NIAJusticeComm to Maghaberry during #PrisonsWeek2024.
Members had the opportunity to discuss a range of issues including rehabilitation, healthcare and work to support the resettlement of prisoners on release.
Prison Service welcomed @NIOGov Secretary of State @HilaryBennMP to Maghaberry Prison during #PrisonsWeek2024 where he had the opportunity to meet with staff, delivery partners and prisoners and see the work being delivered to support rehabilitation.

Giving back to the community is a key part of rehabilitation. Staff & prisoners at Maghaberry have continued to support @AirAmbulanceNI with a new clothes bank initiative, which will raise funds for this important service. This year over £2000 has been raised. #PrisonsWeek2024.
Working in prisons can be challenging but also hugely rewarding. Today, our staff joined the careers fair at @QUBelfast to share their experiences of working in prisons and to encourage others to consider a career within the Service. #PrisonsWeek2024
