@moteknyc @dr_coops @LoebStacy @uroegg @MMSiddiquiMD @PNLogic @Uroweb @PCORI Evidence still v mixed (& weak as cohort studies only). Pros&cons for both. Def still equipoise. Guideline producers (EAU, NICE, AUA) rightly waiting until @TranslateTrial, #PROBE_PC & @PCORI report. Declaration: am co-CI of one of these...but it cd be much closer than u think!

@SimonMDLord @StevePCa1 @VincentGnanapr3 @stevepca I reckon we should hold our horses until the big RCTs are out (@TranslateTrial in 1yr; also #Probe_PC & @PCORI). Then no more need for speculation!! Have a hunch @VincentGnanapr3 may be right re diagnosis and suspect infection also not as different as we all think @LabBryant

Let's wait for the Level 1 evidence that will come soon from @TranslateTrial as well as #PROBE_PC (@BadarMian1) & #PCORI (@jimhumd). 3 big RCTs. Decl of Int: am also CI of #TRANSLATE_Trial
