EdFarm was launched in February 2020 in Birmingham, AL to create a suite of signature programs designed to engage students, educators, and adult learners in innovative digital skills experiences that better prepare them for the 21st-century workforce.
In February 2021, EdFarm, in partnership with #Apple and Southern, announced plans to launch the Propel Center, a physical and virtual hub based in Atlanta, GA that will partner with #HistoricallyBlackCollegesandUniversities (HBCUs) to provide powerful learning experiences for #HBCU students and staff and increase the pool of HBCU graduates entering and leading the innovation economy.
The Opportunity
Ed Farm | PROPEL Center is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead the finance and #accounting functions of the
#nonprofit organization.
This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer, advises the Board of Directors, and provides strategic leadership and thought partnership on all financial matters, including financial infrastructure, compliance, #grantmanagement, #financialforecasting and modeling, accounting, real estate financing, and tax.
The successful VP of Finance will be a seasoned financial professional and leader with a high bar for excellence and a demonstrated commitment to Propel’s mission to expand the pipeline of successful black talent in the innovation economy.
As the organization’s most senior finance leader, you will play a key role in guiding organizational strategy and decision-making.
