MAGA says Ilhan Omar isn't using her real name. Melania Trump was born Melanija Knavs. Ted Cruz was born Rafael Edward Cruz. JD Vance was born James Donald Bowman. Nikki Haley was born Nimarata Nikki Randhawa. Mike Johnson's real first name is James. Rand Paul is Randal Paul. Newt Gingrich was born Newton Leroy McPherson. But suddenly MAGA wants a congressional investigation into names?

A pastor in Kentucky was arrested and charged with 4 counts of producing obscene depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, 4 counts of receiving child sex abuse material, and 1 count of possession of CSAM. Jared Salmons, 46, was also the general manager of the Knott County Water and Sewer District. As both a pastor and high-ranking public official, he held multiple positions of authority. What the hell is going on in Kentucky?

Meet convicted sex offender and MAGAt Brandon Beckham, a far-right Republican politician and small business owner from Utah who was led out of a Provo courtroom in handcuffs on October 1, 2026. Beckham previously served as an elected member of the governing body for the Utah Republican Party and campaigned heavily as a conservative candidate for Utah Senate District 23. His political aspirations permanently unraveled when a jury convicted him of felony forcible sexual abuse, a pattern of behavior he spent more than four years attempting to evade through three separate legal trials before finally being sentenced to serve 364 days in the Utah County jail. The brutal reality of the allegations dates back to June 22, 2021, when a female social acquaintance arrived at a residence in Pleasant Grove to watch a movie. According to sworn court documents, when the woman briefly stepped out of the room and returned, she discovered Beckham had laid a blanket on the floor, turned on battery-operated candles, and stripped down to his underwear. Beckham aggressively ordered the victim to give him a massage and demanded that she massage his buttocks. When she refused his demands and told him multiple times to "knock it off," Beckham used physical force to pin her down to the ground, aggressively stripped off her clothing, and forced her to engage in sexual activity while holding her down, leaving her visibly bruised. Following a prompt report to the Pleasant Grove Police Department, investigators secured a warrant to record a subsequent phone call between Beckham and the survivor. In the incriminating recording played for the jury, Beckham explicitly admitted to his actions, stating, "I got a little out of hand there. I got a little too wild... It just happened". Armed with this evidence, prosecutors officially hit him with second-degree felony charges in February 2022, just days before he deceptively launched his campaign for the Utah State Senate. After his first trial ended in a January 2025 mistrial because his own female defense attorney withdrew out of discomfort with him, and a second trial resulted in a hung jury in January 2026, a third jury finally found him guilty in August 2026. Alongside his jail time, Judge Christine Johnson scolded Beckham for his total lack of remorse, ordered 48 months of supervised probation, and mandated that he register permanently as a convicted sex offender.

He was lying flat on his back in the road with both hands in the air, shouting that he was a therapist and the man beside him was autistic and holding a toy truck. A policeman shot Charles Kinsey anyway. Kinsey asked him why. The officer said: "I don't know." North Miami, Florida, 18 July 2016. Kinsey, 47, was a behavioural therapist. One of his patients, Arnaldo Rios Soto, a 26-year-old autistic man, had wandered out of a group home and was sitting in the middle of the road playing with a silver toy truck. Someone called 911 and reported a man with a gun threatening to kill himself. Kinsey did everything. He lay down in the road on his back. He put both hands straight up in the air where they could be seen. He shouted his identification, his job, his patient's condition, and that the object was a toy. It is on video. A SWAT officer fired three rounds. One hit Kinsey in the leg. Then he was rolled over and handcuffed, bleeding in the road, and left there for a reported twenty minutes before an ambulance got to him. He asked the officer why he had shot him. He has testified that the answer was: *I don't know.* The officer, Jonathan Aledda, said he had been trying to protect Kinsey and believed Rios Soto was armed and a threat. He was charged — which is itself unusual — and tried twice. The first trial produced a conviction on one count of culpable negligence. A judge threw it out. A second jury acquitted him in 2019. Nobody has been held responsible. Kinsey survived and gave interviews, and the sentence he keeps returning to is the one everybody should take from this. He was unarmed, flat on his back, hands up, announcing himself, in daylight, on camera. He did everything right, and it did not matter. Every Black parent in America who has ever recited the rules to a teenager — hands visible, say sir, do not move, announce what you are doing — has had to reckon with Charles Kinsey, because he followed all of them, perfectly, out loud, and was shot anyway.
