With Sidney Powell now cooperating with Fani Willis, expect to see a cascade of guilty pleas. She pled down to misdemeanors, isn't getting any prison time, and will testify to everything she knows. Expect Trump's other co-conspirators, knowing that Powell is going to rat them out, to look for the least amount of prison time they can get, and the only way to ensure that is cooperating. There's always the possibility that because Powell was in meetings that we're publicly aware of, with unindicted co-conspirators, that her cooperation will lead to more prosecutions... Hello Mike Flynn. She's also not totally off the hook in the case of Jack Smith's investigation. Expect her to quietly sign some sort of cooperation agreement with the Special Counsel's Office that we won't find out about for months. This also means that Ken Chesebro is getting his wish and will go on trial without his crazy codefendant. I'm sure he's thinking "Not like that!" The timer is running for him to plead out as well. Respect to Fani Willis. Legal experts were saying her massive RICO indictment was an attempt to throw everything under the sun at these people and would be a difficult, complicated set of trials. She knew what she was doing. She had no intentions of trying 19 defendants, and she won't have to.
