The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon for Big Bear City, Victorville, Running Springs, Hesperia, Wrightwood, Adelanto, Apple Valley, Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, Southern California Logistics Airport, Big Bear Lake, Apple Valley and Lucerne Valley. π β οΈ
The weather service anticipates South winds at 20 to 30 mph in the High Desert, with gusts reaching 45 to 65 mph. In the mountains, winds will be 30 to 40 mph, with gusts up to 60 to 70 mph, and possibly as high as 80 mph on the desert slopes of the mountains. π¨
