@OwenJones84 Aside from the clearly sanctionable behaviour of Beckett, there's the utter contempt for party democracy and members shown by the NEC's refusal to even discuss the #recallconference supported by dozens of CLPs, Momentum, Unite etc., which is what @LauraPidcock was objecting to

When attempting to raise the members' demand for a #recallconference, @LauraPidcock was called a cow by the chair, after refusing to even take a vote on the matter. Some democracy in the party!

Of all of the Labour NECs I have attended today’s was the most depressing.
The motion to recall conference was refused, no vote taken.
When @LauraPidcock questioned how this could be explained to members Margaret Beckett called her a “silly cow”.
