The al-Shifa coverage should have provoked some soul-searching and #rectitude. Instead, the wokie-wokes increased their bitterness at Israel for fact-checking their propaganda passed on by the "Gaza Health Ministry." That and @JoeBiden passing on Egypt's el-Sisi demand not to enter Rafah-- which we now know was to keep hidden the truck-sized tunnels underneath the crossing where a decade of weapons likely were sent-- is what made me realize the fix was in. I purchased a pair of Star-of-David necklaces-- despite not setting foot in a synagogue this millennium-- mostly as tribal support and also to see who in Colorado would give me the stink eye. And my politics were radicalized from the mealy-mouthed "a pox on both your houses" Obama-like moral equivalence to acknowledging I was wrong when as a child I thought like a child and scoffed at my grandparents and late Holocaust-surviving mother that antisemitism even existed in the NY City-area.

Very interesting email just came our way about yet another superstar DSA rich kid who needs his parents to bail him out. Shocking, I know.
So it turns out that DSA strategist Morris Katz was, according to this very reliable source, renting a $5,700/month luxury apartment on Lorimer Street in Brooklyn and just stopped paying rent one day.
He apparently bounced several checks, dodged calls from the management company, super, and landlord, lied about being 'out of town', overstayed his lease, and then left all his belongings behind to be dealt with by the staff.
Ultimately his rich parents, of course, bailed him out with the landlord, presumably to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars.
Again, this is the DSA. A group of spoiled brats who cannot even manage their own lives, yet supposedly have all the answers for how our entire world should be run. An absolute joke.

I just finished the entire book… err, Substack. Kudos & #rectitude points to @timstarr2001 for bending over backwards to understand and defend the many real politik’ foreign policy strengths of @BarackObama (whose Presidency is more defensible than his contemporary role in DSA-izing the party). Shocked that Gen. Petraeus was not apprised of the April 2011 30,000 soldier Iraq surge until 2 days prior to its announcement. Its not akin to FDR keeping Eisenhower in the dark 48 hrs before D-Day but Geez, Louise. I do not agree that the humanitarian justification for Libyan intervention was clear. I wish you explored the ramifications of not getting involved at all there (no matter what France and Britain wanted but didn’t contribute towards NATO’s designs). I also found interesting how unprepared and poorly maintained our Navy vessels supposedly were to confront China’s lies about man-made islands not being built out into hangars, landing strips and bases in the Scarborough Shoal beyond China’s SAS maritime boundaries. Not sure if this was Marc Moyer’s view, but I keep imagining PLA generals chiding Xi’s wolf-warrior brinkmanship but then no longer issuing warnings after seeing how we buckled and only issued complaints. The benefits of deception and Darwinistic hegemony were learned much like the Nazis in the late 1930’s
to disastrous impact. Yet Obama’s popularity would have enabled less congressional opposition than what @RealDonaldTrump now faces amongst the RINO’s, Northeast Gypsy Moth’s and those like MTG, Massie, Gaetz and ex-NCT director Joseph Kent angling for a lame-duck future bolstered by an opposition to Graham/Levin/Shapiro “neo-conservative” policy the Trump WH seems to toggle between depending on how many days the stock market weakens or whatever latest feint Trita Parsi comes up with to please China, Pakistan, Qatar and the IRGC drone deployers. I have other reactions and even thought of future Substack topics but strangely enough a little voice inside my head chastened me from suggesting deeper dives. I love when @BenShapiro goes off-the-chain like that. However, I really admired the #rectitude of his TPUSA speech. Which was a timely, well-reasoned treatise on the Woke Reich that emphasized the search for truth over feelings (with intricate logic akin to Sen. Robert F. Kennedy’s Kansas State University speech about the various issues needing analysis in the Vietnam War).
