We need to open statewide compulsory care facilities married to serious LPS reforms ASAP. Chronically addicted and the severely mentally ill deserve better from California. They need compulsory care. #CompulsoryCare #mentalhealth #StreetAddiction #ReformLPS @ACLU_CalAction @ACLU_CalAction @ACLU ACLU @ACLU @ACLU_SoCal @ACLUNorCalYouth

LPS Conservatorships should not be a "last choice" if they are "medically necessary" to save someone's life. There is no dignity in continuously being failed, jailed, treated and streeted. #California must apply for the #IMDExclusion waiver, #ReformLPS, & fund #HousingThatHeals.

Some CA officials see conservatorships as part of the solution to homelessness. But some advocates and family members say a reluctance to pursue them in San Diego County is failing some of the most vulnerable residents. https://t.co/P3hsMkNnUn

The human and fiscal waste is clear. #ReformLPS for #FamiliesLikeMine. Build & fund a psychiatric continuum of care from crisis to community. We need #HousingThatHeals4SMI and #AbedInstead of solitary. I'm sharing an article from https://t.co/GxRs4WyvXO https://t.co/XGXNq5H6Dd
