Rob Oliphant appears to have a pattern of demeaning women, as well as discouraging racialized and Muslim women from participating in democracy.

After supporting @Rob_Oliphant and volunteering in his campaigns for years with our community in Thorncliffe Park he won our MP, he betrayed our trust and supported a genocide taking away the lifes of our people as we speak in Palestine.
What was shocking was that once I announced my candidacy to run as a mayor of the city of Toronto and informed him of my intention as my MP, he demeaned me put me down, claimed that I haven’t earned the privilege to qualify me to run for a Mayor in Toronto, and that I have ZERO a opportunity to win this seat. And that if I run in this election my name will be in MUD !!!!
I replied that I have all the qualifications that qualify me for such seat and that winning or loosing this election doesn’t really matter for me, but I already earned the honor to be the first Arab Muslim Hijaby woman in history who run for office in the city of Toronto.
Inspite of my limited campaign funding and running for the first time ever for an office in Canada I was honoured to be the 14th out of 102 Candidates.
Let’s make sure that we take off #Oliphant from the parliament and everyone else who is supporting a genocide and betraying the trust of Canadians
