By popular demand : UK version of the GB train operator map. A lot of people don’t know the difference between GB and UK and a many Google UK train maps so lets include Northern Ireland!
Left all the ferries off as too complex and many don’t connect easily with the railways.
HMG knows it needs to secure substantial #ModalShiftToRail in order to help it deliver on its #NetZero policy, for which it's legislated.
So this level of 'performance' doesn't help anyone, @SW_Help...

How on earth did @SW_Help allow a staff shortage on this scale to happen? I know it’s the middle of school holidays, but here is an admission by the company that it does not have sufficient drivers and guards to run the scheduled service.
@SteveWhiteRail Just as a proper - customer responsive - railway should be... well done!
But current timetabled capacity (incl. train lengths) is *not* helping the #ReturnToRail. My wife had to stand from SEV - LBG on Thursday at c. 11:00hrs, which should never be 'a thing'...

Frustrating & sad to see railway companies exhorting people not to travel by train. And the RMT ballot result looks set to inflict more of this misery on the public, at the very time the industry should be working hard to encourage a #ReturnToRail - in our interests, and theirs.
⚠️ We’re running an amended timetable today due to RMT strike action. There will be a significant reduction in services so please avoid travel. If you need to make an essential journey, please plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.

Whether travelling to The Office or other work/education/leisure places, a #ReturnToRail requires an acceptable & reliable service at enticingly low fares on which to return. And HMG still has its #NetZero target to hit - quite apart from delivering #LevellingUp, @transportgovuk

They've arrived! @Paultuohy on the plane and Norman Baker on the train got to George Square just TWO MINS apart.
Paul *just* beat Norman, but his journey emitted around 7x more carbon emissions.
