Final take-home: @LindoLab and I are encouraging authors of new submissions to #Pedobiologia to provide a detailed response to reviews from another journal (if no longer under consideration). We may use this to accelerate the review process and to avoid #reviewerfatigue.

At least 180 manuscripts from 113 respondents submitted to a journal following rejection after review from another journal in the last two years. Reviewers be like:
Absolutely agree. Earlier this year I became co-Editor of #Pedobiologia-Journal of Soil Ecology with @jsoilecol. We try to fast track manuscripts when authors are rejected from other journals with good reviews and can address reviewer comments. This reduces #reviewerfatigue
