Over the past years, frequent power outages have caused damage to many agricultural crops in #Rubyana, in southeastern #Libya, as most farms there rely on water pumps and containers that operate with electricity. As a result, Mr. Abu Bakr Al-Senussi and other farmers incurred huge losses, affecting their living conditions. That was until the AgriTEC project provided solar-powered water pumps and containers that supply 100 farms across #Kufra with enough energy to properly irrigate and store crops. AgriTEC is implemented by Tatweer Research & @WFP with generous funding from @ItalyinLibya & @GermanyDiplo #GoGreen #Ecopreneurs #SDG7 #SDG8 #SDG11
