I received word late last night direct from Senator Cullimore that he had pulled bill #SB337. I thanked him for listening to the many concerns myself and others had.
I offered to be a set of fresh eyes if and when a different version ever develops, because there is some structure there that I believe could be useful, especially on energy and mining projects, but it needs a tight scope and guardrails.
No endzone dances...Please contact him and thank him for hearing our concerns.

Consolidating oversight of The Point, the Inland Port, Fairpark, etc. makes some sense provided the commissioners were elected, not appointed.
But seizing control for ‘significant community impact?’
Who the hell determines that?
Our elected leaders, including @GovCox , point to NIMBYism (their words) as a key obstacle.
Maybe try engaging communities instead of ramming it down their throats, or - worse - using manufactured enthusiasm from curated 3rd parties.
