The landscape of modern warfare has shifted. Today, #SCSPTech and the MIT Security Studies Program (SSP) Wargaming Lab hosted our joint event: The Commercialization of Conflict.
The workshop brought together policy experts and strategists -- providing vital perspectives from government and industry -- to tackle a pressing reality: as emerging technologies and commercial actors move to the forefront of the national security domain, the "rules of engagement" for escalation are changing.
Thank you to our partners at MIT and all of our speakers Lt. Gen. D.A. Sims (ret), Melissa Dalton, Dr. Joshua Hobgood, Andrew Scott, and Dr. Erik Lin-Greenberg. The integration of commercial actors is no longer a "future" scenario—it is the present reality.
