@RaineCB More vulberable- yes. Co-learner stance- not the all-knowing but the one who might have a different perspective or different thoughts and is willing to challenge thinking but also open to being challenged. #SCLeadON

#SCLeadON @chapcat I so agree -learning more about OLCs Open to Learning Conversations has open my learning & reflecting on how to move us ALL forward especially when we tie everything we do to our Ss achievement & success. This alsoleads us to our achievement & success.

A4 #SCleadON Learning about Open to Learning Conversations was really helpful to me in my role, and I found it very helpful to read about examples of "ambivalent" language. I want to commit to working on my skills with Open-to-Learning Conversations.

@RaineCB It’s funny @RaineCB bc I think when I show passion&enthusiasm I convince others to join and try things out. I’m working on valuing the work I’m doing because I’m often second-guessing whether I’m on the right track with our teams. #SCLeadON 1/2

A4: For me the learning was really about how we communicate with people, specifically the soft-sell in OLC. Being clear and honest is kind and respectful. Avoidance does not benefit anyone. When OLC are the focus students will be at the center of what we do.#SCleadON

A4) There have been great reflections in the past weeks and I have taken something from each. I think because this convo is most recent, I am now thinking of ways to give students more voice in decision making (i.e.creating SIP goals) #SCleadON

@RaineCB I was thinking of the Q in terms of outsourcing in the building, but this is outsourcing in a broader way. Can be important to have ppl from outside of your context ask questions #SCleadON

@RaineCB Pressure&support... challenge others to step out of their comfort zone, providing support but not a crutch- fine line. I try to encourage, listen and not take over when they struggle but instead support accordingly. Tough to do, but so rewarding for all in the end. #SCLeadON
