#sjuxav @kennethcXHS I agree that standardized test scores can not determine a person’s intelligence. Intelligence isn’t only much a person learns in school. Intelligence is gained through outside knowledge and experiences.

Zoos should be a means of conservation, not a form of entertainment. We can have enclosures for the animals without torturing to show them off to the public. #sjuxav

Although the target audience is for politicians and lawmakers,I feel that it could also be directed to the general Public. It would be used to inform them,not persuade and although politicians are the only ones who can make a change,it’s important to (1/2) #sjuxav @acolavitoxhs

By expanding on the rhetorical devices that were used in the article, Annabella demonstrated the effectiveness of the article. In her presentation I learned about process analysis and the toulmin method and how these devices were used to supportthe argument #sjuxav @acolavitoxhs

@acolavitoxhs #sjuxav before getting into the argument, this presentation was put together extremely well. I liked how on each slide you numbered the argument, stated the argument directly under it, and then went into describing it and explaining the points being made.

This idea sounds cool and all but how is the government going to create facilities solely for recycling glass? It sounds like there could definitely be a better, more cost effective strategy at lower our carbon footprint. Still loved the presentation! #SJUXAV @acolavitoxhs

#sjuxav I think that Sam brought up a good point about the use of pathos in the article through an anecdote. I did feel that it helped connect other students to Ben and relate to what he was going through. @fadel_samantha
