There is nothing SMART about #SmartMotorways. Just on the M4 and emergency vehicles are fighting their way through traffic to get to the scene of an accident. They’ve got another 3 miles to go and it’s bumper to bumper. If only we had an emergency road something like the hard shoulder. 🤔
