You conveniently ignore the fact that we DON'T horde or sit on slots. We've launched over 10 subnets since November 2025! There are like 15 other slots out there owned by OGs that have sat on slots 6-9 months milking emissions. We don't. We fund and launch teams. Look at the recent launches like 21 and 110. Both launched within 6 weeks and both were making revenue and buybacks within a month. There are an inordinate amount of things to do in launching a new team and we do this very fast. 69 has recently been registered and the public launch/presentation is 1st July at the big Bittensor in London. @const_reborn You've given this slot barely any time. It was registered on 8th May and the launch is 1st July. That's a light speed launch compared to 99% of subnets that have launched. Why do OGs get a pass like SN25 or SN28 and many others that were sat there for months without public proddings?

$TAO #SN69 - The amount of hate I'm seeing about @dsvfund and their slot 69 buy just doesn't make sense to me. Bittensor is a nascent ecosystem, and whatever anyone says, we need pioneers to blaze the trail. You and Mark are among them, with all the immense risks that entails. 99% of us wouldn’t be capable of doing even 10% of what you’re trying to do! If the team that takes over the No. 69 jersey succeeds, it will be only fair. @SiamKidd, @MarkCreaser, you have my support!

Seeing a few weird/misinformed takes here... Back in July 2025, we surveyed the dTAO ecosystem and wondered when more subnets would be launching and hoped someone was actively funnelling new teams in. By October 2025, we had exactly the same thought, and the landscape had barely changed. My life mantra is "Do, Fail, Learn & Pivot until you hit your goals" so we thought "F*** it, let's give it a go". So we focused all efforts into creating a factory line of deal flow in order to funnel as many new fresh teams into Bittensor as possible and with any luck/probability, a couple of teams could fly. November 2025, we bought our very first subnet slot and helped launch a new team, @LeadpoetAI . And G&P are awesome. Fast forward to now, we've since bought 16 slots, helped finance/launch 13 teams and are fielding like 10-20 pitches a week. So yeah, we are regular buyers of slots, but only because we have teams to launch. We aren't land banking! That wouldn't help Bittensor at all! And subnet slots aren't scarce. Yet. I've been generous here with these yellow circles indicating dead/dormant subnets. I could have easily circled another 15 slots that are "active" but actually dead. We don't actually have a subnet cap issue YET. Not enough cylinders are firing nicely yet. We're just trying to get as many cylinders firing as possible and more importantly, focusing on revenue generating subnets so that they are already standing on their feet as businesses and the time for first alpha buyback is rapidly shortened. SN21 @adtao_ppcrebel and SN110 @green_compute_ are perfect examples. Now SN69 is actually the very FIRST subnet slot that DSV has bought. To date, it's just been @MarkCreaser and I giving this a bash with our own personal money. And we don't just throw shit at a wall hoping things stick, as each slot is anywhere from $100-500k! Of course, we are expecting a percentage of teams to fail. That was expected right at the beginning. And initially, when we launched teams, it was rather hands off. Like pushing a new boat out of a factory and hoping it sails well. But now, with a LOT of hindsight, we've seen exactly where a lot of teams go wrong. So we are trying to be more active in new teams, add more support, gift teams free resources/humans etc to help. Anywho, hope this explains things a bit better. As I said, we have some teams almost ready to go, but 69 is a big slot and really needs a big biz to slot into this... So hit us up if you know of any businesses that want to reverse into Bittensor and have the global network of miners to enhance its product/service in order to smash their real world incumbent competitors...

$TAO #SN69 - That’s what you call a glitch in the system… Subnet 69 was deregistered, and a new team—or an opportunist—bought the slot for a fortune. Thanks to the update allowing liquidity to be injected into subnets when they’re registered, this one no longer starts at zero but at a much higher value. They therefore become instantly purchasable and may even trigger an automatic buy from the blockchain for a few days following this injection. And to top it all off, we can see here that subnet 69 currently has only two validators, with an absolutely terrifying APY. This liquidity injection is supposed to end on May 13, and I think that’s a good thing, because we’re starting to see wallets buying the subnet with no intention of building, just to collect this injection. This leads to completely insane subnet prices and this kind of “lunar” situation. Right now, you need 5,000 $TAO to register a subnet. That is $1,500,000. Lol.

$TAO #SN69 - Someone heavily bought the mighty 69 slot but also got heavily sandwiched. The MEV did a 41 TAO profit out of a 1050 TAO sandwich attack. The original buyer is now sitting on a 25% loss, which is about 50 TAO. Watch-your-slippage.
