Thoroughly dismal set of questions from MSPs responding to #STPR2 Statement by @MathesonMichael.
Pretty much all questions demanding new road-building. Zero mention of walking, cycling or buses.
Is it any wonder that there's been zero cuts in transport emissions for 30+ years?

@edsouthsub @Edinburgh_CC Worse still, any proposal to reopen the South Sub (or any other line for that matter) will not be supported by Scottish Government, because its not in #STPR2.
Disappointing #STPR2 does not include proposals to reutilise the #EdSouthSub as part of the “Edinburgh & South East Region Mass Transit” system 🗺️
Was this a missed opportunity?🤨
Interested to see how @Edinburgh_CC’s proposals slated for publishing in January 🗓️!?

Does anyone know where the #EdSouthSub passenger station & services are in #STPR2 document?
@patrickharvie @JennyGilruth @MathesonMichael any pointers or page numbers would be much appreciated, thanks 🙏

Unreliable transport systems especially disadvantage disabled people; resilience is essential for an inclusive transport system. See our comments on #STPR2 Scottish Government spending plans: https://t.co/nnD5HrxLIx
@CalMac_Updates Travelling with my disabled son on the 12.45 ferry from Port Ellen tomorrow. Hospital appointment Tuesday afternoon for my son can't be missed. Still waiting on updates. Stressed beyond belief. Update ASAP please
Good to see the emphasis on traffic lights: a key - and under-used - tool to give priority to sustainable travel! The @Scotgov should also fund signal upgrades where needed; see our comments on #STPR2 https://t.co/xW4o2O0WwV
Good progress on the Public Transport Action Plan this week. It looks likely to include:
🚊 Creation of an actual tram network, the next line will have more capacity than the current route.
🚌 More bus priority measures inside Edinburgh (inc smart traffic lights).

What priorities should guide the @Scotgov’s transport investment in over the next 20 years? Read our comments on the recent #STPR2 consultation here: https://t.co/nnD5HrxLIx. We welcome many of the proposals, essential to achieve a #JustTransition, but…1/2
It was great to be back at Stoneyhill Primary School today. Two years since our last visit as part of STPR2, and delighted to be presented with the entries for our front cover competition #stpr2
We’ve called for the @ScotGov to invest in pavements, bus stops, shelters and stations as a key priority (#STPR2 #NPF4). A green, low-floor bus isn’t much use if you can’t get the the bus stop!

Some interesting comments on bus stops in Edinburgh. What makes a really good, accessible bus stop?

Our comments on the Scottish Government’s priorities for transport spending #STPR2: some good plans - but woefully short on measures to improve pedestrian spaces! What happened to the ‘sustainable travel hierarchy’?? https://t.co/xW4o2O0WwV
Glasgow City Region is long-overdue investment in public transport infrastructure on this scale!🚇🚆🚊
