@edsouthsub @Edinburgh_CC Worse still, any proposal to reopen the South Sub (or any other line for that matter) will not be supported by Scottish Government, because its not in #STPR2.
Disappointing #STPR2 does not include proposals to reutilise the #EdSouthSub as part of the “Edinburgh & South East Region Mass Transit” system 🗺️

Good progress on the Public Transport Action Plan this week. It looks likely to include:
🚊 Creation of an actual tram network, the next line will have more capacity than the current route.
🚌 More bus priority measures inside Edinburgh (inc smart traffic lights).
