I ordered a ₹1.99 lakh smartphone (on my credit card EMI) from #samsungshop expecting a premium buying experience. (@SamsungMobile)
What followed was anything but:
• Promised delivery dates kept changing.
• The shipment was misrouted and delayed.
• I repeatedly contacted Samsung and was given assurances that were not honoured.
• I had to alter my travel plans and incur additional expenses just to remain available for the promised delivery and exchange.
• After weeks of chasing, Samsung cancelled the order.
• ₹2,999 deducted as a cancellation charge.
• When I asked for compensation for the disruption and losses, I was simply told: “No compensation is possible as per Samsung’s Policy.”
Only after repeated formal escalations did Samsung initiate the disputed cancellation-charge refund and other refunds.
This isn’t about a delayed phone anymore.
It is about promises, accountability and how a customer is treated after Samsung has already taken the money.
I have preserved the emails, call records, tracking history and supporting documents.
@Samsung, is this really the customer experience you want associated with your brand?
I’ll let people judge for themselves.
But I will take this battle to the court and pursue it to its due closure, because I cannot allow companies to operate with impunity and take customers for granted.
