Here's the further update of the movement of #SaveCHSLibrary movement.
After getting the response people strongly demonstrated against this move.
Today there was a meeting of CHS faculty held with VC in which the copy of 2100+ signatures across the world and 200+ CHS students
Update - Here's the difference our #SaveCHSLibrary movement has made since day 1:
1. Students arrived to prevent shifting of books.
2. Social media campaign & talking to the press made everyone aware of the issue, created public support & pressure.
3. 16 former faculty write to JNU VC.
4. Emergency faculty meeting of CHS held.
5. 2100-strong signature campaign continues. Many eminent names & well-wishers.
6. Statements from nearly every university organisation & from the JNU Teachers' Association.
7. CHS faculty met the VC & negotiations are underway.
The struggle continues! ✊🏾
