W is for Wednesday and Webern. Composed in 1904, Anton Webern’s idyll for large orchestra, ’Im Sommerwind’ was only first perfomed in 1962 by @philorch & Eugene Ormandy. Juvenilia, certainly, the score does however look forward to mature Webern.
