He further explained that the programme allowed students to combine results from different examination sittings in order to meet the required standards for further study and progression opportunities. He explained that the programme allowed candidates to register and retake examinations in June 2026 or October 2026, with results available in August 2026 or January 2027 respectively. Candidates who had passed Matric but wished to pursue engineering at the University of Nelson Mandela were also able to participate, as the programme bridged learning levels and supported progression into higher education pathways.
