At General Conference today, it struck me how similarly Elder Quentin L. Cook and Pope Leo XIV speak about Christian conduct online. Pope Leo said “Everyone can and must do his or her part, beginning with small but important things, abstaining from every form of verbal or physical violence in daily life and also on social media.” Christians should not use the internet to tear others down. We are called to be peacemakers.

While you prepare for general conference, consider this story: Right near the end of Middle School, my Seminary Teacher, Brother Jeppson, invited our class to prepare for conference by being ready with questions we wanted to know the answer to. He even suggested that if we didn't know what questions to ask, a fun cheat code was to ask God if He had any questions He thought we should ask. So, I tried that, and had my list of questions prepared, but the day before conference, I was pondering my list of questions and prayed one final time to ask God if there were any other questions He'd have me ask. Just as I finished my prayer, I found myself wondering... when did we start holding Conference in the Conference Center? I almost brushed it off. That must have just been a random musing, right? But then I figured I might as well write it down, just in case. It had come so soon after my prayer, maybe there was something to it. The next day, Conference began. During an address from President Monson (who was then the first counselor in the first presidency), he had a talk dedicated entirely to the tabernacle. In it, he, almost offhandedly, mentioned that the Conference center had been dedicated in the year 2000! Never before had learning a specific date hit me like that. Of all of my questions I had written down for conference, that one is the only one I still remember. What's so interesting to me about it, is that this answer wasn't about God wanting me to know specifically when the Church started using the conference center. It was Him showing me that He hears my prayers, and that if I listen to Him, He'll guide me. That talk had already been written. It had already been prepared. The had Lord guided my question so that I could see it answered by His servants the next day. It was such a cool experience, and one of the many reasons I believe revelation is real. So, if you've read this far, I want to invite you to do the same. Prepare for conference with questions, and pray and ask God if there are any questions He would have you ask. I know God hears our prayers, and that He loves us. TL;DR - try the cheat code of asking the Lord if there are any questions that He would have you ask of Him while you prepare for Conference. Revelation is real.
