Dear @ElonMusk,
CC: @Twitter, @TwitterCreators, @TwitterSpaces
Before you pass the Twitter CEO baton over, here are some suggestions on how to improve user experience. Please read these with an open mind:
‣ Make $TWTR Public Again: I want in, I know Twitter will go far under your reign.
‣ Optimize desktop Twitter interface: Improve the user experience on the desktop version of Twitter Spaces. This will make it easier for people to access and use the platform.
‣ Parental controls: Implementing parental controls or a framework to put a border between children and 18+ material would help to make Twitter a safer environment for children, reduce liability, and improve the platform's reputation.
‣ Custom emojis for content creators and a drop box to change content creator emojis: Allowing content creators to pick 10 custom emojis for their subscribers would help to promote user engagement and drive, which would increase the subscription value and provide more opportunities for growth.
‣ Subscriber badge specific to content creators page when subscriber interacts with content creator. Badge would change for people to show in loyalty from subscribing. This would be cooler that the current little purple stars.
‣ Twittersetup.exe: Creating a Twittersetup.exe for Twitter would make it easier for people to install and use the platform on a PC, which would increase user adoption and improve the platform's reputation.
‣ Open crowd sourcing group: Creating an open crowd sourcing group of frequent Twitter users (like me) would help to improve the platform's features and functionality from a consumer perspective.
‣ Permission & Approval of posts on the Space Nest: Allow hosts to approve posts before they are published on Twitter Spaces. This will help to maintain a safe and productive environment. being “porn-bombed” is not fun during an important space.
‣ Allow people to use their mics on the PC: Some of us have monster builds and podcasters.. yet we’re stuck with a delayed stream on the PC and have to use our phone microphone…
‣ Volume slider: Add a volume slider to Twitter Spaces. This will allow users to adjust the volume to their preferences.
‣ Timer on spaces 30/60/90 for speakers: Implementing a timer for speakers will improve the platform's functionality and user experience by ensuring that speakers have a limited amount of time to speak, which would prevent long-winded speeches and increase user engagement.
‣ Deafen button: Add "deafen" and “mute” button to Twitter Spaces. This will allow users to individually mute participants and focus on the host.
‣ Close capacity space: Add a feature to Twitter Spaces that allows the host to close the space when it reaches capacity. This will help to manage the number of participants and maintain a productive environment.
‣ Speaker queue on Twitter: Add a speaker queue to Twitter Spaces. This will help to manage the flow of conversation and ensure that everyone has a chance to speak.
‣ Ability for the host to save a transcript of the captions. Some people like me don’t like to record spaces, but I wouldn’t mind posting [cc]
‣ Add a feature to Twitter Spaces that allows users to easily copy and paste usernames. This will make it easier for users to interact with each other.
‣ Chat-box in Twitter Space so that hosts and panel could interact during podcasts without interrupting audience. This will help to maintain a productive environment.
‣ Save caption transcription: Saving caption transcription would help to make Twitter Spaces more accessible for people with hearing impairments, which would increase inclusivity and improve the platform's reputation.
If you don’t like my solutions, recommendations, or comments.. please atleast consider the problems and make your own solutions.
Best Regards,
Kiki, #SpacesHost
