Nice try, Elon, but you got it backwards here. The “relentless propaganda” voters had to sift through wasn’t from Hollywood or the “legacy media” – it was a tidal wave of right-wing disinformation, magnified a thousand times by social media and foreign actors playing along for chaos. Russia, China, and Iran had their fingerprints all over this election with armies of bots and fake accounts, feeding folks “news” they want to hear and spinning every lie to keep people divided. Let’s get real about the numbers Musk’s cheerleader here threw out, too. Saying Kamala had “100% of federal institutions” is a laugh. Federal agencies are bound to remain nonpartisan, and the actual reports from these agencies? They’ve flagged that the bulk of disinformation came from the right and foreign bad actors aiming to rig the conversation, not the other way around. But let’s not ignore the megaphone Musk’s got himself here, pumping up claims that just don’t hold up. He’s out here telling folks there’s some big conspiracy when, in fact, the disinformation playbook this election was dead-simple: flood the zone with lies, see what sticks, and trust that enough people will look the other way. So no, Elon, people saw through the propaganda, all right, but it wasn’t coming from where you want them to think it was. You had a big part in this.
