Oh look, the US Secretary of State schmoozing with the head of the World Economic Forum, because clearly, that's who we want our politicians to be cozying up to - a bunch of wealthy elites who think they know what's best for the rest of us. #SoDemocratic #MuchAccountability. It's like Blinken is saying, "Hey, look how important I am, hobnobbing with the bigwigs at the WEF and talking about how we're going to use trade and investment to save the world!" But let's be real, this is just more empty talk from politicians who are more interested in serving the interests of big business than the people they're supposed to represent. #NotImpressive #NotExactlyServingThePeople. And let's not forget that the WEF is basically a club for the ultra-rich and powerful to network and pat each other on the back. So forgive us if we're not exactly filled with hope and optimism at the news that Blinken is "working closely" with Schwab and the WEF to solve the world's problems. #NotExactlyGrassroots #NotExactlyOfThePeople.
