“We know the role Walmart plays in communities goes far beyond giving them things to buy.” White says Walmart wanted to bring people together during a time that was so tough to do so. One strategy was a Walmart Drive In in Walmart parking lots across the country #SocCommDays
"We are going to continue to innovate and chart new territory in social commerice," says White. It is inspiring to hear that a large company like Walmart has such a good balance between conducting business and giving back to people. #SocCommDays #PRethics
Walmart accelerated the launch of their membership program, “Walmart +,” due to the pandemic. The messaging promoting the program had a clear human focus - heavily predicated on families and benefiting communities. Walmart’s corporate #MoralValues shine through. #SocCommDays
