Humans replacing servers! Everywhere I see discussion of the #sociotechnicalstack places humans on the social layer on the top. This reframing of the #DigitalEcosystem with humans as the living base of this new global mindbody we have is so helpful! Thanks @philiprosedale

To become a living space, the internet must first develop a concept of identity. Today we have servers (IP addresses) at the bottom - we have to replace those somehow with people.

Many technologists think their job is to build a technology, when their real job is to setup a social + economic system that builds and deploys the technology. IMO cryptosphere is full of the result: cool proofs of concept that no-one actually uses.

@davidedjensen @davidhodgson Relevant: @Sheldrake’s work on interpersonal data and generative identity. If our digital ecosystem is a #sociotechnicalstack, but our socios is modeled for the smart cities of surveillance capitalism, then our ecosystem will still be in trouble. Human agency is key.
