Always exciting to see a new cycleway π²π²π² being laid. This is part of the North Midds Hospital Active Travel project designed by the Enfield team. It'll mean so much to the amazing 4,000 Doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital when they walk and cycle to & from work.

Yesterday I stopped by one of my fav bars on Smith St, and sat at a table that used to be a car parking space. I love seeing high-quality parklet designs crop up now that @YarraCouncil has made the initiative permanent.

Herald Sun desperately trying to whip up anger against bike lanes, despite their own data collection showing 25% of 'vehicles' entering the CBD are bikes.
Downplayed as 'just 1 in 4' - it's actually quite a decent ratio which will continue to grow as the network is expanded.
An entire safe and healthy walking and cycling network could be built for this. Thousands of KMs rather than a couple KMs.
