Updated the firmware/gateware on my Hermes Lite 2 (#HL2) from 73.p2 to 74.p2. Used #SparkSDR beta but needed to take the most recent - .975. Thanks Alan, M0NNB!

after some tweaking to NIC settings on #proxmox hypervisor at #DL0PF the connection seems to be more stable now...that's ~250MBit/s constant I/Q traffic for 24 RX slots from 3 #redpitayas running into a #nuc #cwskimmer #sparksdr #hamradio #nevernotskimming

so after one and a half day, here's the results: our current setup (ft8d w/ depth=3 on odroid N2) delivers ~9% more spots and ~6% more DXCCs heard than #sparksdr

comparing #ft8 decoders #ft8d by Pavel Demin and wsjt-x based decoder in #sparksdr...both running decoding depth 3 on a #redpitaya 125-14 sharing same antenna. Spotting as DL0PF-RP and DL0PF-SP....let's see who wins #pskreporter #hamradio

9 virtual receivers, 3.5, 5, 7 and 10 Mhz decoding FT8, FT4 and WSP. The I7 processor is having to do some work. #SDR #Hermes #sparkSDR #hamradio Would like to a RTTY skimmer. Suggestions? @m0wut

evaluating #SparkSDR as an alternative skimming solution for #DL0PF....nice tool, but #raspi4 ist more that saturated w/ decoding on 6 bands. IQ source is #redpitaya 125-14 in Hermes/HPSDR mode #hamradio #nevernotskimming
