@AtholBrose Oh my MP hates me. I know why... I tend to treat him like a rather errant adult son. His father is in the HoL and he tends to do what his father tells him to do - which I told him not to do. 😉 He will inevitably get a copy of the submission we put in (#SpartacusNetwork)....

@ElleWatts77 @johnpringdns Reports do make a difference. The Responsible Reform Report made a difference. The Beyond the Boundaries report made a difference. We take the evidence in that report and confront policy with it. #SpartacusNetwork works.

@RattusMalumus @stephenctimms @scope @jrf_uk I'm intrigued by the idea that @jrf_uk and @scope are the orgs/people to be actively consulting and briefing with on WCA. Especially for #ELCI and #SMI. Why not reach out to #SpartacusNetwork? Ask @BenBaumberg and @octoberpoppy to convene a lived experience focus group?

Unrelatedly, I'd like to note that #SpartacusNetwork achieved higher higher survey participation than did this government report. So did @octoberpoppy in her 2014 WRAG research, and @chronicinclude project. Yay for the #ELCI community. @suey2y @BendyGirl @hossylass

@_Wrevolution_ It wasnt a happy day for the #SpartacusNetwork, who were booked on national and regional tv and radio to present their new report on the cuts being inflicted on sick and disabled people and the economic impact of that. We all got bumped. She did it on fucking purpose.

#SpartacusReport became #SpartacusNetwork - so many people wanted to remain anonymous, out of fear of DWP reprisals. Thats the environment we had to work in. A very real fear of reprisals from a major government department. They called us terrorists. They had to retract. 6/n

@mrkernow @krishgm @howarthm @MelJStride @AmberRuddHR @DWP Well you know how it is - it was only happening to sick and disabled people, and everyone just knew they were faking, so no one was bothered. Now its affecting huge numbers of real people and we start the debate. But rest assured "some" of us have talked a lot #SpartacusNetwork

Sorry @Anna_Soubry but this is exactly what you voted for. And worse - if it hadnt been for the HoL interventions. We at #SpartacusNetwork know the legislation inside and out, if you are struggling with the concepts.
