So I was digging through the National Archives FBI files on MLK's assassination, including additional records released on July 21, 2025, and came across some interesting similarities to Charlie Kirk's case. And what stands out to me just as much as the similarities is the difference in how the families publicly approached the investigations. Coretta Scott King didn't just ask for answers. She questioned whether the very agencies investigating her husband's murder could be trusted to tell the truth. She wanted them investigated, too.
