Photo credit: Ifebusola Sotunde 🌳🪵 What seemed to be happening, as far as eye witness reports went, was that the #property #developers were making frantic efforts to get #stormwater run-off from Oke Itunu, and water from the #SpringHead on #Ogunpa/#Agodi #Forest #Reserve, as far out of the way as possible, by attempting to divert both in the general direction of Ajibade road, which leads off the main Oyo road and forms one of the boundaries of #Ogunpa/#Agodi #Forest #Reserve. Thus completely altering the direction of flow and displacing a natural tributary of the #Ogunpa #River. Which is still there. There is now an "Up and Over" closure on the #A2 eastbound junction within the #Springhead #A2260 junction. Traffic is being diverted via the exit slip and back on the entry slip of the same junction. Clean up of the debris is now underway and recovery is en route.

Traffic is held on the #A2 eastbound in #Kent between the #Bean junction #B255 and the #Springhead #A2260 junction. The first collision has now cleared. All emergency services are on scene with the second collision. We are awaiting an update on the severity of the collision.

Traffic is held on the #A2 eastbound in #Kent within the #Springhead #A2260 junction. This is due to a single vehicle collision. There are now reports of a secondary more serious collision in the queueing traffic with one vehicle reported to have overturned. More to follow...
