🌳🪵 What seemed to be happening, as far as eye witness reports went,
was that the #property #developers were making frantic efforts to get
#stormwater run-off from Oke Itunu,
and water from the #SpringHead on #Ogunpa/#Agodi #Forest #Reserve,
as far out of the way as possible,
by attempting to divert both in the general direction of Ajibade road, which leads off the main Oyo road and forms one of the boundaries of #Ogunpa/#Agodi #Forest #Reserve.
Thus completely altering the direction of flow and displacing a natural tributary of the #Ogunpa #River.

🌳🪵 At one stage, the ongoing and unbelievable rearrangement of the topography of #Ogunpa/#Agodi #Forest #Reserve by #property #developers,
created a green stagnant pond out of the Oke Itunu #stormwater run-off,
some considerable distance away from its original path.
Which is still there.

The closure within the #A2 eastbound junction within the #Springhead #A2260 junction has been removed.
Road OPEN.
There is now an "Up and Over" closure on the #A2 eastbound junction within the #Springhead #A2260 junction.
Traffic is being diverted via the exit slip and back on the entry slip of the same junction.
Clean up of the debris is now underway and recovery is en route.
Traffic is held on the #A2 eastbound in #Kent within the #Springhead #A2260 junction.
This is due to a single vehicle collision.
There are now reports of a secondary more serious collision in the queueing traffic with one vehicle reported to have overturned.
More to follow...
The #A2 eastbound between the #B262 (#Springhead) and #A227 (#Gravesend) has now been cleared following a multi‑vehicle collision.
All lanes have reopened and traffic beginning to ease.
Thanks for your patience. #Kent

HOW #INTERFERENCE WITH THE #SPRINGHEAD ON #OGUNPA #FOREST #RESERVE CAN LEAD TO #LIQUEFACTION AND #MUDSLIDES
🌳🪵 May all those involved with the #disruption of #hydrological processes on #Ogunpa #Forest #Reserve
WAKE UP AND TAKE NOTE

FACTORS THAT INCREASE THE RISK OF SUDDEN LIQUEFACTION OF RED LATERITE SOIL
🌳🪵 Even if the #engineers tearing up the #SpringHead on #Ogunpa #Forest #Reserve were not paying much attention in construction #engineering class, it is not too late for them to cease and desist.

🌳🪵 Were Baywood Infrastructures' construction engineers ever taught this?
Do they really believe they can #interfere with the massive #natural #SpringHead on #Ogunpa #Forest #Reserve and get away with it?

🌳🪵 Having removed over 5000 soil stabilizing, flood buffering trees, from Ogunpa #Forest Reserve, Baywood Infrastructures is now working fast and furiously towards TOTAL DISRUPTION of the hydrological processes of this KEYSTONE WATERSHED VALLEY
