三菱UFJ銀行へ送った要望書の回答期限は今日だったが、いまだ回答がない。また前回の要請書への回答も全く質問には答えておらず、実質回答を拒否している。
しかしカナダ現地での先住民や抗議者への弾圧は続いており、これ以上この大きな人権侵害への日本企業の加担を先延ばしにはできない。

本日、三菱UFJ銀行金沢支店にてカナダのパイプライン建設事業の撤退を求める文書を提出しました。
この事業により沢山の先住民が迫害や暴力を受け、生活が脅かされています。
私たちはこの著しい人権侵害が行われている事業に融資する銀行に対し、強く抗議します。

三菱商事は化石燃料採掘に投資することで、カナダの先住民の生活と環境を破壊しています。三菱商事に対して投資からの撤退を求めるネット署名が開始しています。
