The @WHO report on hypertension. Niger has overall 42% of hypertension prevalence for both sex, 40% for male, 43% for female. Of 2.2 millions adults 30-79 years with hypertension, only 27% are diagnosed, 13% are treated and only #6% have their blood pressure controlled. #StopNCD

Unfortunately, the same is not true for the majority of those with hypertension, especially for those in lower-income countries and communities.
